Every Waterboy has Pharmaceutical grade prolonged contact coconut shell Granular  Activated Carbon, which removes or reduces chemical contaminants like Chlorine, Pesticides, THM, TCE, PCB, pharmaceuticals, herbicides, VOC’s, industrial solvents, and hundreds of other contaminants. The 2^nd stage  is prolonged contact Granular activated Catalytic carbon which removes or reduces chloramines, the 3^rd stage is Silica Quartz removes dirt and sediment in the water.  The 4^th stage is K.D.F. 55 (Redox Media), which removes heavy metals, lead and arsenic, chromium and other contaminants. The  5^th stage is a standard size Hydro Industrial fields module and is a descaler module which reduces hard water problems and reverses scale and corrosion in the plumbing. There is a double automatic valve and a  1″ line built-in bypass. The  Clack controller valve  is an Electro mechanical automatic back rinse control valve, which sets the timer each week to automatically flush the unit. Water Flow: 24GPM
