In Memoriam: Ted and Peter Carlisi – Founders of Superior Water

Superior Water was never just a business… it reflected two men who believed that something as simple as water could be made better, and in doing so, improve the lives of thousands of families. And thus, The Waterboy was created. 

Ted and Peter Carlisi built Superior Water from the ground up with a clear purpose: to deliver clean, safe, great-tasting water to every home and business they served. Over nearly three decades, their commitment to quality, integrity, and innovation has helped grow the company into a trusted name, with more than 20,000 systems installed across the country. 

They understood early on that water wasn’t just about taste… it was about health, longevity, and responsibility. Their approach championed environmentally conscious solutions long before it became the norm, offering systems that protect both the home and the world outside it.

But more than the Waterboy technology, it was their values that defined Superior Water. They built lasting relationships with customers, stood behind every installation, and treated the company like an extension of their family, because it was.

Today, while Ted and Peter are no longer with us, their vision lives on.

Superior Water remains proudly family-owned and operated, now led by Joe Carlisi and Elaine Montemarano, who continue to carry forward the legacy their father and founders set in motion. With the same dedication to customer service, innovation, and integrity, the next generation upholds the mission: delivering superior water and a better everyday experience to every customer they serve.
